Community Sport Clubs Grant Program – Sept 2013

Up to $100,000 (GST exclusive) in funding is available through the Brisbane City Council’s Community Sports Clubs Grants Program. DWS can help your club gain funding in Organisational Development; improving vital areas such as effective Committee management.

The Community Sport Clubs Grant Program has been designed to help clubs to operate more sustainably. Sport clubs can apply for grants for projects that represent long-term, cost-effective value, and result in reductions to ongoing club costs or increased income avenues.

There are three grant categories available:

  1. Community facility upgrade
  2. Community facility maintenance
  3. Organisational development (particularly in the area of effective committee management)

Your application must be for projects that demonstrate maintainable cost reductions and show to increase the sporting club’s organisational sustainability (economic, governance, community and environmental).

Funding round dates

The next round opens Monday 16 September 2013 and closes Monday 18 November 2013.
